Logiss awarded new contract: internal material handling system for Siggi Group’s distribution warehouse
Logiss confirms its role as a reliable partner for the automation of logistics processes in the professional clothing sector. We have recently signed a new contract for the design and implementation of an internal material handling system at the distribution center of Siggi Group, a leading Italian company in the production and marketing of workwear, school uniforms and professional clothing.
This new collaboration marks an important step for both our team and the client, who chose Logiss to support a structured path of logistics efficiency and innovation.
A strategic project for professional clothing logistics
Siggi Group is a well-established brand in the Made in Italy scene, with over 50 years of experience in the production of technical and professional clothing for various sectors: healthcare, education, hospitality, industry and public services. In response to the growing demand for quality, flexibility and rapid distribution, the company has decided to invest in an automated material handling system for its main distribution warehouse, aiming to optimize outbound flows and provide an increasingly high-performance logistics service.
A tailor-made internal handling system
Every Logiss solution is based on a thorough analysis of the customer’s specific needs. In the case of Siggi, the system will be designed considering:
- the type of packages handled (folded and boxed clothing);
- the layout and available space within the distribution center;
- the average and peak order volumes;
- required fulfillment times;
- traceability needs and integration with the company’s WMS.
The result will be a fully customized handling system, with modular components, reliable technologies and scalable solutions. Depending on the final engineering decisions, the system may include: motorized roller conveyors, 90° curves, belt conveyors, sorting systems, labeling stations, and automated control systems.
All implementation phases – from layout design to commissioning – will be managed by the Logiss technical team, in constant dialogue with Siggi’s internal departments.
Why invest in an internal material handling system
More and more companies in the fashion and workwear industry are choosing to invest in automated internal handling solutions. The benefits are clear:
- Traceability: real-time tracking of warehouse flows and order statuses;
- Safety: fewer repetitive manual tasks and improved ergonomics;
- Scalability: systems that can grow alongside the company.
The Logiss system for Siggi is part of this broader transformation towards a smarter, faster, and more responsive supply chain.
One project, one shared vision
At Logiss, each project is the result of a shared vision with the customer. Working with a company like Siggi Group – dynamic, forward-thinking and innovation-driven – is a source of pride for our entire team. This newly signed contract marks the beginning of a journey that will lead us through design, implementation, and commissioning in the coming months.
We are ready to put our expertise to work and deliver a high-value solution that combines technical reliability, quality, and long-term performance.
