Logiss recently successfully completed the installation of a new end-of-line plant for Easy Plast, a leading manufacturer of polypropylene moulds and components.

A complex, tailor-made system that integrates several solutions to efficiently and effectively respond to customer needs by automating the entire process, from box moulding to bag insertion, distribution to the various moulding machines, box retrieval, vibrating for product settling, bag closing, box closing and taping, sorting by product/customer and palletising.

Total plant automation not only optimises the handling of boxes with increased production efficiency but also substantially improves the safety of personnel who no longer have to work directly on the machines but supervise the processes.

A state-of-the-art system for a state-of-the-art company

The plant, characterised by a high degree of automation, is equipped with:
 

• Multi roller conveyors with sorter: for flexible and accurate management of the selection and sorting of empty boxes, ready to be handled by AMR to the filling stations.
• Roller system with 24V power supply to minimise energy consumption and noise impact on the working environment.
• Height reclaimers: ensure a continuous and safe flow of materials, allowing multi-level work.
• AMR with multi-level roller conveyors: allow the box preparation and packaging area to be connected to the production and filling area efficiently and safely.
